Jon Ewing is Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer at iCapital, leading the global team responsible for Brand and Messaging, Channel Marketing, Communications, Content, Digital Strategy, Events, Market Intelligence, and Marketing Operations. He is also a member of the company’s Operating Committee.
Jon’s most recent position was as Chief Marketing Officer of Fitch Group. Jon joined Fitch through the firm’s 2014 acquisition of BMI Research, where he served as both Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. Before BMI, Jon was Personalization Director at dunnhumby, a leading firm in customer data science and analytics, focused primarily on managing the Tesco account.
Jon’s has a comprehensive background in Information Technology as well as Marketing. He began his career as a software developer eventually became head of Research and Development at Mediasurface. As part of the Mediasurface assignment, he spent three years in India setting up and running an offshore development center. Jon grew up in the U.K. and has a degree in Philosophy & Mathematics from the University of Bristol and a Masters in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh.
