Frank Porcelli


Frank is Chairman of BlackRock’s U.S. Wealth Advisory business and the Head of its Digital Wealth Solutions group, a new team focused on delivering the firm’s innovative technology capabilities to financial intermediaries and advisory professionals. He is a member of BlackRock’s Global Operating Committee and Global Steering Committee for retail technology, where he oversees digital business development and the field-based distribution teams focused on driving technology adoption. During his long tenure as Head of U.S. Wealth Advisory, Frank served as the architect for BlackRock’s retail business strategy, growing the unit’s AUM to nearly $1 trillion in broadly diversified assets across channels and product types. His service with the firm dates back to 2005, including his time with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which merged with BlackRock the following year. Previously, Frank was Managing Director of Institutional Sales and Consultant Relations at Putnam Investments and Director of Corporate Asset Management services with Goldman Sachs. He also held various senior leadership roles at Smith Barney. He earned a BA from Pace University.
