NEW YORK, NY – ( BUSINESS WIRE ) – iCapital Network , an online platform that provides streamlined access to alternative investments, announced several new appointments today. Finance veteran Tom Iacono joins the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence Calcano , Mr. Iacono will join the executive team and lead iCapital’s finance, legal, operations and human resources functions. Grace Kim joins the firm as Head of Investor Relations; David Russo joins as Head of Platform Integration; and Bryan Gallagher joins as Legal Counsel.

Mr. Iacono joins iCapital from General Electric where he spent 12 years in key financial leadership and transaction advisory roles in the GE Energy Financial Services, GE Corporate Aircraft and GE Capital Aviation Services divisions. Previously Mr. Iacono was CFO of Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Fund and a Senior Manager at Deloitte. He is a Certified Public Accountant and received a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Grace Kim
Ms. Kim joins iCapital from Fir Tree Partners, a multi-strategy investment firm, where she was a Director in the Investor Relations group. She has 17 years of experience working closely with both managers and investors in the alternative investment industry. Ms. Kim began her career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and received an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.
David Russo
Mr. Russo joins iCapital from Credit Suisse Private Banking Americas where he was COO of Assets and Investments responsible for cross-product strategy and business development for the firm’s investment advisory offerings. Previously he was Program Director of the $200 billion Rep-as-Advisor business in the Managed Solutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and prior to that, a Vice President and Program Manager of the Rep-as-Advisor platform at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Mr. Russo received a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University.
Bryan Gallagher
Mr. Gallagher joins iCapital from Goldman Sachs, where he served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in the Investment Management Division with a focus on alternative investments, including private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds and real estate, as well as capital raising and regulatory matters. Previously, he worked in the Asset Management practice at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP and the Global Private Investment Funds practice at Paul Hastings LLP. Mr. Gallagher holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and a J.D. from the Hofstra University School of Law.
